About the event
The East Coast Waveski Association is hosting it's Paddle Surf East Weekend at beautiful Carolina Beach, NC USA. Join our host, Waveski Champion Stewart Diesel-Reynolds, as we spring into summer with warm weather, warm water, lots of waves (we hope), paddle surfers and beach gatherings. It's a casual event that caters to ALL levels of paddle-craft: Waveskis; SUPs; Kayaks; Surfboards. Bring the whole family as they can enjoy relaxing on the beach, fishing, great restaurants or drive just over an hour to enjoy the attractions that surround Myrtle Beach, SC. We'll have Friday, Saturday and Sunday surf sessions at Atlanta Beach Access surf break or nearby breaks depending on condition. Waveski Champion Shelly Palmer will be volunteering her time as she will help direct us all on the beach and where to surf.
Friday: AM. Check-In at Atlanta Beach Access / Surf Sessions All Day: We’ll update info closer to event date.
Friday Night: Welcome Party at Hurricane Alley’s, 5 Boardwalk, Carolina Beach, NC 28428
Saturday: Surf Sessions
Saturday: Waveski Clinic with World Champion Ian Macleod & Macski. Time TBD.
Saturday, 4:30 PM: Stretch Your Limbs with Tree On The Beach
Saturday Night: Meet & Greet Party at Hurricane Alley’s sponsored by Bill Carone Chevrolet, Ellison Foods & Macski.
Sunday: Morning Surf Session TBD.
There are many affordable lodging options nearby as well as camping. Wilmington International Airport is just a half hour away if flying in. Please stay tuned. More details will become available as we get closer to the event.
